Responsibilities:
Assess, prioritize, and provide emergency nursing care for patients with varying acuity levels.
Respond rapidly to trauma, cardiac, medical, and psychiatric emergencies.
Perform patient assessments, medication administration, IV therapy, and emergency interventions.
Collaborate with physicians, EMS, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver timely, high-quality care.
Monitor patient conditions, document care accurately, and educate patients and families.
Follow evidence-based emergency and trauma protocols while maintaining patient safety.
Requirements
Current, unencumbered Oregon Registered Nurse (RN) License (required at submission)
Minimum ER nursing experience as required by the facility
BLS (Healthcare Provider) certification
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification
CEN (Certified Emergency Nurse) preferred
