Role description

Travel/Contract RN in Labor and Delivery for a 13‑week assignment in Cary, North Carolina. Provide high‑acuity nursing care to laboring patients and support multidisciplinary teams. Earn competitive pay while delivering essential obstetric care.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive labor and delivery nursing care to ensure safe patient outcomes

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate obstetric, neonatal, and postpartum services

Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, interventions, and progress in EMR

Continuously assess patient status, responding promptly to emergencies

Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and postpartum care procedures

Qualifications:

Current nursing license in the state of North Carolina

BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications

Minimum 1 year of recent acute care nursing experience in a high‑acuity setting

Ability to work flexible multiple shifts, strong clinical judgment, effective team collaboration, and proficiency in EMR documentation
