Role description
This 13‑week travel contract provides a registered nurse with neonatal intensive care experience the opportunity to work days and nights in a NICU setting near Raleigh, North Carolina. Assess neonatal patients in the NICU, providing high‑quality care tailored to each neonate’s needs.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for neonatal patients.
Administer medications, perform procedures, and manage emergent situations efficiently and safely.
Document all patient interactions, treatments, and outcomes accurately in compliance with hospital policies.
Educate and support family members of neonatal patients to ensure understanding of care plans and emotional comfort.
Qualifications:
Active nursing license in North Carolina or eligibility for licensure verification.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Minimum 1 year of recent NICU nursing experience.
Ability to work flexible shifts, including days and nights.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills.

Postpartum nursing experience
