Role description
Travel/Contract Registered Nurse – NICU – Days + Nights Available. Provide high‑quality neonatal care in a 13‑week assignment in or near Greensboro, North Carolina. Deliver critical care while working variable shifts, leveraging EMR systems and interdisciplinary collaboration.Key Responsibilities:
Provide high‑quality neonatal care to meet the individualized needs of NICU patients, ensuring safety and compliance with hospital protocols.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans that optimize outcomes for neonates.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and progress using EPIC and Cerner EMR systems.
Execute critical care procedures with proficiency, including ventilator management, IV therapy, and monitoring vital signs for high‑acuity patients.
Support patient and family education by explaining procedures, treatment plans, and providing emotional support as needed.
Qualifications:
BLS, NRP, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
Minimum of 1 year of recent NICU experience in a hospital setting.
Valid North Carolina nursing license or recent multi‑state license.
Proficient EMR skills with EPIC and Cerner.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
Ability to work variable shifts, including days and nights.
Excellent critical care skills.
Preferred Skills:
Current enrollment in or completion of a BSN program.
