Trade Journeyman Mechanic Heavy Equipment & Apprentice

Role description

EMCON SERVICES INC. , a progressive Road & Bridge Maintenance Contractor in BC, Alberta and Ontario, is looking for a confident Trade Journeyman Mechanic (Heavy Duty or Commercial Transport) or Apprentice Mechanic. The role includes wages and a benefit package as per the AUPE Collective Agreement. This position is part of a team that maintains an equipment fleet of graders, loaders, sweepers, trucks and winter maintenance attachments. Knowledge and experience in Preventative Maintenance Programs would be an asset.

Qualifications

• Valid AB Driver’s License, Minimum Class 3 License with air brake endorsement (considered an asset)
• Trade Journeyman in Heavy Duty Mechanic
• CVIP inspection Mechanic
• Safety conscious, ability to work in a safety‑driven environment
• Industry tools (hand tools)
• Physically fit and capable of performing job requirements
