In this role, you'll prepare quality meals and offer support to both residents and your Food Services team. You are expected to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills while attending to residents' unique dietary needs. The Cook plays an essential role in fostering a compassionate dining experience for our community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure meals meet residential preferences and nutritional guidelines
• Participate in team meetings and contribute feedback
• Mentor and train new culinary staff and students
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and equipment audits
• Report operational issues promptly to the supervisor
Requirements:
• Culinary certification or equivalent experience preferred
• Food safety awareness and certification required
• Effective communicator with multitasking capabilities
• Recent background checks and health documentation
• Understand and implement quality indicators for improvement
