We have an exciting new opportunity here at Schiphol Airport, for a positive and ambitious leader to join our team. As a WHSmith Store Manager, you will lead your store team to deliver exceptional customer service and outstanding operational standards in a busy travel environment.
Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for driving sales and managing the costs to maximise on the profitability of your store - you’ll treat the business as your own.
- Inspiring the team to make sure every customer has a brilliant experience so wherever our customers are going, you can be sure they will always be happy to come back to our stores.

- Coach, guide and create a culture of learning, support, and recognition - spotting opportunities for development of personal skills, product knowledge and self-awareness to support our colleagues in an environment where everyone feels valued and welcome.

Experience / Qualifications
Joining WHSmith as a Store Manager, it would be great to have Retail or Hospitality experience – but what is just as important is that you are in your element when inspiring a team! You lead by example, showing your team what great always looks like. With this approach, you’ll win the respect of staff at every level, getting the best from each individual and encouraging them to develop. Commercially sharp, you know that putting customers first is key to meeting targets and budgets, and you’ll take full responsibility for the store’s Profit & Loss account.
