Role description

Become a Senior Care Health Aide and provide vital home care for seniors. Focus on enhancing lives by supporting their daily activities and ensuring their safety during care.
This role involves predominantly in-home support, allowing seniors to maintain their independence while receiving crucial assistance. As a Health Care Aide, your responsibilities will include working flexible shifts throughout Coquitlam and greater Vancouver, within the hours of 7:30 AM to 12 AM. Weekend availability is necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist patients with personal care and meal support
• Monitor health metrics and document progress
• Provide mobility assistance and fall prevention
• Engage clients in leisure and exercise activities
• Oversee safety during care shifts and respond to emergencies
Requirements:
• Health Care Aide Certificate or 1+ year experience
• Equivalent qualifications from foreign LPN/RN may be accepted
• Capacity to work independently is essential
• Driver’s license and reliable vehicle are preferred
• Strong command of English language
