Registered Nurse (RN) – Pediatrics – 13‑week travel contract in the Charlotte, North Carolina area. This role provides direct pediatric nursing care in high‑acuity settings, including NICU and pediatric units, while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver family‑centered care.Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct pediatric nursing care in high‑acuity settings, including NICU and pediatric units.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient care in Epic and other electronic health record systems.
Assess patient conditions regularly, respond quickly to changes, and execute appropriate interventions.
Educate and communicate effectively with parents and caregivers, offering support and guidance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field from an accredited program.
CPR certification.
BLS certification.
PALS certification.
State‑specific RN license.
At least 1 year of pediatric nursing experience, preferably in high‑acuity or NICU settings.
Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced hospital environment.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Epic documentation.
