Intermediate Care (IMC) Registered Nurse
Join the Intermediate Care (IMC) team at MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital and care for a diverse population of medically complex patients in a fast-paced, supportive environment. This 36-bed unit bridges the gap between the ICU and medical-surgical care, providing an excellent opportunity for nurses to build confidence while caring for higher-acuity patients.
Nurses gain experience managing advanced therapies, including BiPAP, CPAP, cardiac drips, and insulin drips, while working alongside a collaborative interdisciplinary team committed to exceptional patient care. Key Responsibilities
As a Clinical Nurse, you will provide skilled, compassionate care to patients and families across a spectrum of needs—from routine to highly complex. You will assess evolving patient conditions, identify actual and potential health concerns, and develop appropriate care plans. Interventions may be delivered directly or coordinated through collaboration with other members of the nursing team

ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.
Prior Clinical Nursing Experience preferred.
Active MD RN License or Active Compact State RN and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required (AHA or American Red Cross).
This position has a hiring range of : USD $36.50 - USD $60.34 /Hr.
