Qualifications:
* Associate's Degree (ADN) or above in nursing
* Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
* 1 year experience in stepdown/progressive, neurology, cardiac, or another medium to high acuity setting preferred
* BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications from the American Heart Association
* Strong skills in hemodynamic monitoring, cardiac rhythm interpretation and other advanced nursing care practices
* Proficient in electronic medical record systems
Responsibilities:
* Provide specialized care for patients with medium to high acuity needs, closely monitoring vital signs, IV drips and other key indicators
* Administer medications and implement complex treatment plans, ensuring that medical orders are carried out accurately and promptly
* Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, case managers and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
* Educate patients and their families on the management of their acute or chronic conditions, including the proper use of equipment like BiPAP/CPAP/Home Oxygen and vital sign or blood sugar monitors
* Maintain timely and accurate patient records, adhering to hospital and departmental policies and regulations

Salary: $72,470 to $111,200 /year
