Position Overview:
A well-established behavioral health program in the Hudson Valley region of New York is seeking a
Board Certified/Board Eligible Psychiatrist
for
full-time ongoing locum tenens coverage beginning May 2026 . The incoming physician will join a collaborative multidisciplinary team consisting of psychiatrists and experienced psychiatric advanced practice providers, delivering care across multiple clinical environments.
Clinical Responsibilities May Include:
Inpatient psychiatry coverage
Outpatient behavioral health services
Psychiatric consultation to medical/surgical units
Emergency department psychiatric evaluations
Collaborative care with outpatient behavioral health centers
Participation in interdisciplinary treatment planning
The role offers flexibility based on provider strengths and clinical interests while supporting continuity of care across the behavioral health service line.
