Production Manager

Role description

TH Daniels Global Executive Search & Selection have partnered with a leading rigid industrial packaging manufacturer to recruit a Production Manager for their manufacturing operation in South Holland.

This is a high-impact operational leadership role, responsible for driving production performance, operational efficiency, safety, quality, and continuous improvement across the site. The successful candidate will bring strong manufacturing leadership experience, ideally within rigid industrial packaging, metal packaging, plastics, or a similarly process-driven manufacturing environment, combined with a proven track record of developing teams and improving operational performance.

To be considered for the role you must meet the following requirements:

• Proven experience in a Production Manager, Operations Manager, or similar manufacturing leadership position.
• Experience within rigid industrial packaging, metal packaging, plastics, or a comparable manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of production planning, manufacturing processes, quality, and operational efficiency.
• Proven experience leading and developing production teams within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

• Lead and manage day-to-day production operations, ensuring safety, quality, efficiency, and delivery targets are consistently achieved.
• Develop, coach, and motivate production teams to build a high-performing and accountable manufacturing culture.
• Monitor key operational KPIs, identify areas for improvement, and implement initiatives to improve productivity and reduce costs.
• Drive continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives across the production operation.
• Ensure production schedules are delivered on time whilst maintaining required quality standards.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve manufacturing processes, equipment utilisation, labour efficiency, and overall operational performance.
