Position Overview
The Department of Neurology at the University of Arizona College of Medicine - Tucson, in collaboration with Banner - University Medicine Tucson, seeksBoard Certified/Board Eligible Pediatric Neurologiststo join our growing interdisciplinary clinical faculty team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to providecomprehensive neurological care to pediatric patientsin both ambulatory and inpatient settings, primarily at theBanner Diamond Childrens Medical Centerand associated outpatient clinics located within minutes of the hospital.
The successful candidate will actively participate inteaching and mentorshipof neurology residents and medical students and will have the opportunity to contribute toclinical or basic science research. Applicants with strong research interests and a commitment to academic medicine are encouraged to apply. Afaculty appointment commensurate with experience and qualifications, with full faculty status at the University of Arizona, will be provided.Clinical & Academic Environment
The Department of Neurology is committed tocomprehensive neurological care for children with a wide spectrum of neurological disorders, including epilepsy, neuromuscular diseases, movement disorders, headache, neurogenetic conditions, and neurodevelopmental disorders. Clinical faculty are supported by:
State-of-the-art inpatient and outpatient facilities , including dedicated pediatric specialty clinics.
Multidisciplinary care teams , including pediatric subspecialists, therapists, and support staff, ensuring coordinated care.
A thrivingneurology residency program with 24 residentsand a strong emphasis on education and academic growth.Research Infrastructure
The Department of Neurology houses arobust Clinical Research Unitwith dedicated personnel and infrastructure to supportclinical and translational research. This includes:
Experienced clinical coordinators and regulatory support staff
Infrastructure for clinical trials, including industry- and investigator-initiated studies
Data management and statistical support resources

MD/DO degree (or equivalent)
Board Certification or Eligibility in Pediatric Neurology
Eligibility for an Arizona medical license
