Minimum Requirements

Bachelor‘s, Master‘s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
Active Texas Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment.
BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
Outpatient physical therapy experience required. Client prefers clinicians with experience performing 60-minute evaluations and one-on-one treatment sessions.
Experience with documentation of evaluations, goal writing, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with clinic and payer requirements.
Demonstrated ability to develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans focused on functional return to community activities.
Ability to supervise and delegate discipline-specific therapy services and to participate in student training when assigned.
Maintain professional licensure and comply with state practice act and continuing education requirements.
Preferred: prior experience in a high-volume outpatient setting and familiarity with performance improvement initiatives and safety practices such as safe patient handling.

Facility Type: Outpatient clinic.
Assignment Duration: 13 weeks.
Shift Pattern: 5x8 (five shifts per week, eight-hour shifts).
Patient Visit Structure: 60-minute evaluations plus treatment sessions.
Start: July (start month provided by client).
