Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join a travel Physical Therapist opportunity in Escanaba, MI providing home health services. You will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while working within a home health practice and covering Delta County and portions of Dickinson and Menominee Counties within approximately a 1-hour radius of Escanaba.
Doctoral, Master's, or Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
Active Michigan Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment.
Home health experience required.
Ability to complete physical therapy admissions, evaluations, reassessments, and discharges in a home health setting.
Shift hours: 0800 - 1600 (office hours noted as 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM; Workweek: Monday through Friday, office-hour schedule.
No on-call or weekend requirement.

Provide comprehensive home health physical therapy services including admissions, add-on evaluations, reassessments, discharges, individualized plan-of-care development, and collaboration with PTAs. Participate in weekly case conferences and monthly staff meetings to support care coordination and quality outcomes.
Escanaba offers access to Lake Michigan shoreline, Delta County parks, and regional outdoor recreation within short drives.

The city is on Little Bay de Noc and is about a 30-60 minute drive to state parks, including Fayette Historic State Park and Escanaba River State Forest recreation areas. The area supports fishing, boating, hiking, and seasonal snowmobiling for outdoor-oriented lifestyles, and Escanaba provides local dining, cultural events, and a regional airport within reasonable driving distance to larger Upper Peninsula communities.
