Job Requirements
Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Pediatric Anesthesiology
Completion of a Pediatric Anesthesia Fellowship required
Active Ohio medical license required
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
Minimum of 1 year of pediatric anesthesia experience preferred
Experience with general surgery, thoracic, complex orthopedic, and neurosurgical cases
Strong skills in ventilation management and perioperative anesthesia care
Ability to work effectively in a care team model and supervise CRNAs when needed
Responsibilities
Provide pediatric anesthesia services across multiple subspecialties, excluding cardiac surgery and transplant surgery
Manage anesthesia care for neonatal, pediatric, and adult general surgical cases
Support thoracic, complex orthopedic, and neurosurgical procedures
Collaborate with surgeons, nursing staff, and anesthesia colleagues in a busy operating room environment
Supervise CRNAs as part of a collegial care team model
Assist with airway management, ventilation support, and acute volume or blood pressure concerns
Deliver high-quality, patient-centered perioperative care in a fast-paced hospital setting
