As a
Level II, American College of Surgeons-verified Trauma Center , Vassar Brothers Medical Center provides comprehensive and expeditious care for victims of traumatic injuries. Our multidisciplinary trauma team includes:
Board-certified trauma surgeons
Orthopedic surgeons
Neurosurgeons
Emergency medicine physicians
Anesthesiologists
Radiologists
Critical care specialists
Nurses, and rehabilitation experts
The team provides
24-hour immediate coverage
to assess and treat patients according to national guidelines, with a focus on maximizing patient recovery and outcomes. Our comprehensive approach includes:

The ideal candidate is:
BE/BC in Orthopedic Surgery
Fellowship training in Orthopedic Trauma required
New graduates and experienced surgeons encouraged to apply
Compensation for this position is a competitive $1,700 for a 24-hour non-restricted call shift.
