Opportunity Highlights

Location:

Cincinnati, Ohio
Practice Setting:

Inpatient Hospital-Based Laborist Program
Schedule:

12-hour in-house shifts (7:00 AM 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM 7:00 AM)
Shift Flexibility:

Work individual shifts or multiple consecutive 24-hour periods
Coverage Needed:

ASAP after credentialing through the transition to a permanent Laborist model (anticipated Q1 2027)
Patient Volume:

Approximately 0 6 patients per shift
Call:

In-house Laborist coverage with gynecology emergency department call and hospital outpatient practice call while on shift

Clinical Responsibilities

You'll provide comprehensive inpatient OB/GYN care, including:
Vaginal deliveries
Cesarean sections
Emergency gynecologic surgery
Gynecology consultation for the Emergency Department
Daily inpatient rounding and discharges
Collaboration with Certified Nurse Midwives and the hospital care team
Opportunity to interact with GME residents when present
Practice Support

EMR:

Epic Stork
Collaborative multidisciplinary Labor & Delivery team
Midwife support
Hospital-based practice with dedicated inpatient focus
Qualifications

Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology
Active Ohio license or

IMLC

eligibility with a Letter of Qualification accepted
ACLS and DEA required
