Role description

Be a part of the City Manager's Office in Thunder Bay as a full-time Municipal Law Enforcement Officer III. This position focuses on enforcing Municipal by-laws for traffic, parking, and animal control.
As a key player within the Supervisor – Municipal Enforcement Services, your role entails upholding local by-laws and applicable Provincial regulations while excluding property standards actions. You'll contribute to ensuring community safety and compliance with regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Enforce Municipal traffic and parking regulations
• Manage animal control issues effectively
• Collaborate with team members for law enforcement
• Maintain accurate records of incidents and actions
• Educate the public on Municipal by-laws
Requirements:
• Direct experience in Municipal law enforcement
• Familiarity with applicable Provincial statutes
