MRI Technologist - Travel Job

Role description

Jackson HealthPros is thrilled to welcome an experienced MRI Tech to our team to accurately interpret a physician’s scanning instructions, prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, and expertly operate MRI scanners to create diagnostic images.
Minimum Requirements:
Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
MRI advanced level certification and state licensure
2 years‘ experience

as an MRI Tech
BLS certification
ARRT-MR or ARMRIT
3-5 years in MRI
Experience with outpatient, inpatient, and ED patient types including patients with implantable devices, neuro, oncology, musculoskeletal, ventilated, sedated, and whole body imaging
GE and Siemens experience required
EPIC required
GE Discovery 750W required
Siemens Aera required
Siemens Magnetom Skyra required
McKesson PACS required
Covid vaccine required

Assignment Details
Shift Hours: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
Shift Days: Monday-Friday
40 hours per week
Weekend rotation: maximum every 3rd weekend
On-call: Saturday and Sunday nights 9:00 PM - 6:30 AM
Backup on-call: Saturday and Sunday 6:30 AM - 9:00 PM
30-minute response time for on-call responsibilities
Weekly rotating responsibility for first-shift backup on-call and weekend on-call
Weekend on-call occurs approximately once every 8 weeks and includes on-site Saturday hours, with a compensatory weekday off scheduled
Holiday expectations based on unit needs
No floating. MRI only
3 days of orientation
