IFS Cloud Technical Consultant

We are seeking an experienced IFS Cloud Technical Consultant to join our team in Amsterdam. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on expertise in implementing, customizing, and integrating IFS Cloud , working closely with functional consultants and business stakeholders to deliver high‑quality solutions tailored to organizational needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement technical customizations, configurations, and integrations in IFS Cloud.
• Analyze business and technical requirements to deliver robust solutions using IFS tools such as IFS Developer Studio, Custom Events, Lobbies, and Reporting Framework.
• Work on IFS Connect integrations, APIs (REST/SOAP), and data migration using tools like Data Migration Workbench.
• Customize and develop reports using IFS Reporting Framework, Crystal Reports, Quick Reports, or other BI tools.
• Collaborate with functional consultants to ensure alignment with best practices and business goals.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test scripts, and user guides.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in development, test, and production environments.
• Participate in IFS upgrades, patching activities, and performance tuning.
• Ensure high code quality, compliance with development standards, and efficient solution delivery.
• Provide technical support, knowledge transfer, and training to end-users and internal teams.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of hands‑on experience as an IFS Technical Consultant (IFS Apps 10 / IFS Cloud).
• Proficiency in:
• PLSQL and Custom Objects (Events, Projections, Pages)
• Strong experience with IFS Connect, REST APIs, SOAP Web Services
• Integration frameworks and data migration tools
• Proven expertise in report development using IFS Reporting Framework, Crystal Reports, or other BI tools.
• Familiarity with configuration and personalization in IFS Cloud.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in cross‑functional teams.
