Housekeeping Aide Position Available Now

Role description

Cogir Senior Living seeks a dedicated Housekeeping Aide to maintain cleanliness and hygiene for our residents. Make a genuine impact while working within our supportive environment.
In this role, you’ll work Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, ensuring all apartments and common areas are clean and welcoming. As a Housekeeping Aide, you will utilize your cleaning skills while adhering to safety protocols and foster respect for residents’ rights.
Key Responsibilities:
• Clean all resident apartments and shared facilities
• Use cleaning machines and steamers for effective sanitation
• Complete garbage collection and disposal tasks
• Follow established cleaning and safety procedures
• Attend in-service training and staff meetings
Requirements:
• Strong communication skills in English
• Experience in institutional or commercial cleaning
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Must obtain a Vulnerable Sector Check
• Previous experience in a healthcare environment preferred
