Housekeeping Aide (Part-Time Days, Evenings, Weekends) – Manitoulin Centennial Manor

Responsibilities
- Maintain the cleanliness of the facility
- Operate different cleaning machines
- Maintain stock of cleaning supplies & PPE distributed on the floor (sanitizer, mask, gloves, etc.)
- Participate in proper storage and labeling of housekeeping and laundry supplies
- Adhere to established departmental policies, procedures regarding quality assurance, fire, safety, environment, and infection control
- Participate in facility meetings as assigned
- Attend in-service education programs
- Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor
Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping / laundry aide experience preferred in LTC Home 0-1 year(s)
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to read and write English as well as understand simple verbal and written instructions in English
- Ability to work safely, following established safety practices and procedures
- Must be able to do moderate to heavy lifting
- Successful candidate must be available to work days, evenings, weekends and statutory holidays
Compensation & Benefits
Time Type: Part time
Compensation Details: $23.22 - $25.28 per hour
