Role description
Locums - Martinsville, Virginia Hematology/Oncology OpeningClinical Role Provide Hematology/Oncology coverage for an established outpatient practice. Long-term commitment and drive-in candidates are preferred. Assignment Details
Coverage Dates: September 8-October 30, 2026November 16-November 22Ongoing Need Schedule:
Outpatient clinical hours plus light call 4 shifts per week 8-10 hours per day based on patient volume Overtime after 40 hours per week Approximately 12-15 patients per day
Call Coverage
Light beeper call for established patients Approximately 2-5 phone calls per week 1-hour response time No onsite night or weekend call requirement
Support & Practice
3 established permanent providers plus 6 RNs, 1 PA/NP, and 6 office staff This is joining an existing team, not solo coverage 13-bed facility Aria EMR Apartment available Drive-in candidates preferred
Requirements
Board Certified/Board Eligible - Required Hematology/Oncology Fellowship - Required Active Virginia license - Required ABLS, ACLS, BLS - Required
