Role description

Grocery Clerk (NOC 65102)

Responsibilities:

• Bag, box or parcel purchases for customers, for shipment or delivery
• Obtain articles for customers from shelf or stockroom
• Order stock
• Record incoming stock
• Keep stock clean and in order
• Price items using stamp or stickers according to price list
• Perform general cleaning duties (i.e. sweeping, mopping floors)
• Operate cash register
• Order picking
• Provide customer service

Work setting: Rural area, Remote location, Willing to relocate, No fly-in/fly-out, or rotational arrangements are available, Supermarket/grocery store

Personal suitability: Interpersonal awareness-The role serves an Indigenous community; candidates must demonstrate cultural awareness, respect, and the ability to work effectively in a community-focused environment.

Education: No degree, certificate or diploma

Experience: Experience is an asset

Wage: $18.80 per hour
