We are partnering with a leading and fast-growing aviation finance company in Amsterdam to find a Financial Analyst & Accountant. This role is ideal for a finance professional with a strong background in accounting, financial reporting, and data analysis, looking to contribute to a dynamic and evolving industry.

About the Role

As a Financial Analyst & Accountant, you will play a key role in financial reporting, analysis, and compliance, supporting the company’s strategic decision-making and operational efficiency. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting, strong financial controls, and insightful analysis that drives business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements, management accounts, and reconciliations across multiple entities.
• Perform financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend forecasting, and performance evaluation.
• Support statutory reporting, audits, and tax compliance in collaboration with external advisors.
• Provide technical accounting guidance and ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards.
• Analyze financial data to provide insights that support strategic planning and decision-making.
• Manage debt structures, covenant compliance, and treasury-related processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance reporting processes and drive efficiency.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling for key business initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in accounting and financial analysis, ideally within a leasing, aviation, or financial services environment.
• Strong proficiency in GAAP, financial reporting standards, and regulatory compliance.
• Advanced skills in Excel and financial modeling; experience with treasury or accounting systems is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
