10 - 12 patients per day
Inpatient hospital setting
10-bed med/surg ICU -- pulmonary consults included
Vent management, central lines, and intubations required
Leave coverage with ongoing need
Adults only patient population
Rarely called in overnight
Paid malpractice insurance; pre-paid travel and housing expenses
