Valcon is a no-nonsense consultancy agency focused on end-to-end transformations that combine consulting, technology and data. We help clients across Retail, Manufacturing, Finance, Government and Infrastructure sectors.
What will you do?
We believe that a solid data governance foundation is the key enabler to truly become a data driven organisation. In the Data Governance team of Valcon NL, we help our clients get their data foundation in great shape; ready and flexible to respond to the future. From developing the data strategy to implementation, including organisational, people, process, data and technology change.
Our fast-growing Data Governance team consists of a mix of data subject matter experts who, together with expertise from the wider Valcon practices, deliver successful projects for our customers.
Our projects are varied and may include:
- Assessing the data maturity of our customers.
- Establishing and communicating a data governance strategy.
- Designing and implementing new operating models, structures, roles and responsibilities.
- Designing and implementing new data governance and data management processes.
- Implementing data catalog and/or data quality solutions.

Experience
- 2 years+ of experience within a Data Governance and/or Data Quality role.
- A quantitative degree such as Computer Science, AI, Mathematics, Economics, etc.
- Strong teamwork, communication and analytical skills.
- Fluency in Dutch and English.
- Any experience with data management tooling, e.g. Collibra, Purview, Informatica, Ataccama etc, is a plus.
