Computed Tomography Technologist – Travel Job
Role description
Become a vital part of a hospital Radiology team in Myrtle Beach, SC as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will accurately follow physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials per protocol, and operate CT scanners to produce diagnostic images for emergency department and inpatient populations. The role requires adherence to departmental policies and participation in a compassionate care model.Minimum Requirements:
Current ARRT (Radiography) certification required. CT certification preferred.
At least 1 year of CT experience in a Level 1 trauma setting.
Ability to operate GE CT equipment (GE 512, GE 128, GE 32 slice) independently.
Advanced skills to perform routine CT exams for ED and inpatient patients, including trauma pan scans, head, neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis, extremities, and CTA.
Documentation experience with Meditech preferred.
BLS certification.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience performing high-volume CT operations (unit averages approximately 180 CT exams per day across three scanners).
Familiarity with Joint Commission and ACR accreditation standards.
Assignment Details
Shift hours: 0800-2000.
Work setting: Emergency department and inpatient CT exams only.
