Computed Tomography Technologist – Travel Job

Role description

Become a vital part of a hospital-based radiology team in Charleston, SC as an experienced Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist. You will perform emergency department CT and general radiology exams, administer contrast agents per orders, and operate CT and radiography equipment to support timely patient diagnosis and care. Familiarity with Meditech documentation and emergency department workflow is required.

Minimum Qualifications:

ARRT certification in Radiography and CT (ARRT(R)(CT)).
State radiologic technologist registration or SCRQSA certification as required.
BLS certification.
General radiography experience and CT experience in an emergency or acute care setting.
Experience operating GE Revolution Maxima CT and GE radiography equipment or similar CT and radiography systems preferred.
Ability to perform both X-ray and CT examinations during a single shift.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience using Meditech electronic documentation systems.
Prior experience working in a free-standing emergency department or high-acuity ED environment.

Assignment Details

Shift hours: 07:00–19:30.
Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week with holiday requirements.
Unit staffing: One technologist performing both radiography and CT duties per 12-hour shift.
Equipment in use: GE Revolution Maxima CT; GE Tempo radiography unit.
Floating: Potential to rotate to other shifts or facilities based upon staffing needs.
