Clinical Nurse Educator

Education/Experience
Minimum Required:
Bachelors of Science in Nursing
Three (3) years of nursing practice experience in a clinical setting
Preferred:
Masters Degree in Nursing or related field
Previous teaching experience

License/Certification
Minimum Required:
Current New York State Registered Nurse License
CPR within 3 months of hire
Completion of Professional Certification within 3 years.
Preferred:
Professional Nursing Certification in Professional Development
Professional Certification in another nursing specialty
Work Environment
Work is performed in an office environment and patient care areas which require working in proximity to other employees and patients. Rooms are air conditioned and heated.
Frequent walking, standing, bending and lifting.
Fast paced environment with frequent interruptions.
Exposure to equipment cleaning solutions and disinfectants.
PPE (Eyewear, Masks, Face shields, Shoe covers, and Gloves) as required by UHS Hospitals Infection Control policies.
