Role description

Transform infusion care at GreenShield as a Casual Infusion Nurse (RPN), focusing on safe practice and patient comfort in a clinical setting. This role requires strong clinical skills and commitment to patient education.
As an Infusion Nurse with us, you will be integral to the administration of specialty therapies via various routes, ensuring that patients receive optimal care and support throughout their treatment journey. Your effective communication and collaborative skills will allow you to work closely with healthcare professionals and contribute to a patient-first approach in service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer injections and infusions under protocol guidelines
• Assess patients thoroughly before and during treatments
• Document patient care and adverse events accurately
• Educate patients and their families on therapy expectations
• Support clinical operations across various locations as needed
Requirements:
• Active RPN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• 2-3 years of clinical nursing experience; infusion preferred
• Current BLS certification mandatory; ACLS preferred
• Experience with EMR systems and efficient documentation
• Valid driver’s license and dependable vehicle for travel
