In this dual role, you will be charged with thorough cleaning of resident areas and handling of laundry with care. The Environmental Services Manager will oversee your tasks, which include cleaning rooms, managing laundry responsibilities, and attending to minor repairs. Your attention to detail and knowledge of cleaning and laundry procedures are essential to maintaining a hygienic and pleasant setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Clean and sanitize resident rooms and common areas
• Safely operate laundry machines and ensure proper settings
• Collect and sort laundry, treating stains as necessary
• Maintain a safe and compliant workplace following procedures
• Participate in mandatory training and staff meetings
Requirements:
• Background in healthcare cleaning or laundry services
• Strong capability to follow detailed instructions
• Basic sewing skills for linen repairs
• Ability to function independently with minimal supervision
• Must provide a Vulnerable Sector Check
