The Cath Lab CVT, under the direction the of the director/charge person, monitors procedures, including all diagnostic and interventional coronary and peripheral catheterization studies, ensures safe patient care, and works as a scrub assistant. This is a PRN Day Shift position. Qualifications:

* Education

* Associate's Degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, or Respiratory Therapy
* In Lieu of education requirements, a minimum of five (5) years' experience and:

* Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Certification (Required within 12 months of hire) OR
* Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Certification (Required within 12 months of hire)

* Licensure/Certification/Registration

* American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification (preferred)
* If no ARRT, then one of the following licenses or certifications:

* * * * * * * -FL Certified Radiologic Technologist license OR
* -FL Registered Respiratory Therapist license OR
* -Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Certification OR
* -Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Certification
* -any of the four license/certifications above within 12 months of hire if no degree in the applicable fields

* BLS required
* ACLS required
