Role description
A well-established healthcare organization is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Interventional Cardiologist to provide locum tenens coverage at a thriving cardiology practice in Kansas. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive team while enjoying a predictable outpatient schedule combined with call coverage. The primary coverage need is December 21-28, 2026, with additional assignment opportunities anticipated throughout 2027.
- Outpatient cardiology setting
- Scheduled clinical hours plus call
- Epic EMR
- Stroke-certified facility
- Collaborative support staff including nursing and medical assistant support
- No APP supervision required
- No teaching or resident oversight responsibilities
- Beeper call coverage
- Assigned patient call only
- 15-minute response time requirement
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology
- Active Kansas medical license or eligibility through the IMLC
- BLS required
- PALS required
