Opportunity:
Physician - Interventional Cardiology
Job Details:
Provide 24-hour beeper call coverage for inpatient interventional cardiology services
Practice mix will be 75% interventional and 25% noninvasive cardiology
NUC reading and NUC activity will be required
Expected patient encounters of 10-15 per shift
Shift times run 7am to 7am (24-hour call coverage)
Active California medical license required
Board certified or board eligible within 3-5 years of residency required
Active DEA required
Active fluoroscopy (FLURO) certification is required
ACLS and BLS certifications required
Minimum of 2 years of current hospital clinical activity in the specialty required
Any gaps greater than 3 months in clinical activity must be explained
Current case logs must be included upon presentation
Updated CV with all hospital affiliations must be submitted at time of presentation
Credentialing timeframe is approximately 60-90 days
Licensed in California only - IMLC not accepted
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
