Role description
Locum General Cardiologist Putnam, ConnecticutDay Kimball Health, a 100-bed community hospital in Putnam, Connecticut, is urgently seeking a General Cardiologist for locum tenens coverage.
Assignment Details
Coverage dates: September 7 11 and September , 2026 - Ongoing
Schedule: Monday Friday, approximately 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Setting: Mix of inpatient and outpatient general cardiology
No weekends
No call
Additional ongoing coverage may be available
Responsibilities
Provide outpatient general cardiology services
Complete inpatient rounding and cardiology consultations
Evaluate and manage a broad range of cardiovascular conditions
Interpret routine non-invasive cardiac studies as needed
Collaborate with hospitalists, APPs, nursing staff, and other specialists
Requirements
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease
Active Connecticut medical license or ability to obtain one
Active DEA
Comfortable working in both inpatient and outpatient settings
