Cardiology - Interventional Physician

Opportunity Highlights

Schedule:

5 days per month, Monday-Friday; coverage authorized through February 2027

Job Setting:

Inpatient

EMR System:

Epic

Call Details:

In-House Call and STEMI coverage; call response time 1 hour for in-house, less than 30 minutes for Emergency/STEMI; call ratio 100% in-house (from staff or hospitalists); average 20-25 calls per 24-hour period; 15-20 patients seen; no admissions unless STEMI (all admissions handled by hospitalist service)

Support Staff Provided:

7 RNs, 7 MAs, 6 PA/NPs, 3 Office Staff

Credentialing:

60-90 days; expedited credentialing may be possible with the right candidate

Minimum Requirements

Board Certified/Board Eligible:

Board Certified required

Certifications:

ACLS, ATLS, BLS required

Licensure:

Active Arkansas license required (IMLC not accepted)

Fellowship:

Required

Additional Requirements:

Clean malpractice history and NPDB required
