Hourly rate: $24.00 to $36.00 / hour (To be negotiated)

Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time (30 to 44 hours / week)
Start date: As soon as possible
Work Setting: Hotel
Benefit: 4 percent of total wages for vacation pay
Job Requirements
Languages: English
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
Job Duties
- Perform regular safety and security inspections to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff.
- Diagnose and repair minor issues in heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems; coordinate trades for major repairs.
- Arrange and oversee contractors for specialized maintenance or renovation work.
- Inspect and repair hotel appliances and equipment to prevent service interruptions.
- Carry out routine maintenance such as painting, drywall repair, and general facility upkeep.
- Move and set up heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed.
- Clear snow and ice from walkways and parking areas to ensure safe access.
- Supervise and support other maintenance staff when required.
