Locum Tenens Anesthesiologist Job - General Anesthesiology Opportunity

Shift Duration:

10-hour days

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 7A-5P, with weekend and holiday call coverage from 7A-7A

Case Mix:

Trauma, cardiac anesthesia, ENT, GI, neurosurgery, oncology, orthopedics, pulmonary, general surgery, urology, bariatrics, and Level III NICU coverage

Setting:

Busy hospital-based anesthesiology practice with a collaborative care team model

Job Requirements

Board eligible or board certified in Anesthesiology

1+ year of anesthesiology experience preferred; strong new graduates may be considered

Comfort supervising CRNAs within a care team model

Ability to manage a broad range of surgical and specialty cases

Commitment to safe, patient-centered anesthesia care

Responsibilities

Provide anesthesia services across a broad and varied surgical case mix

Supervise 1 to 3 operating rooms as part of a collaborative anesthesia care team

Support weekday coverage and participate in weekend and holiday call coverage as scheduled

Work closely with CRNAs and the broader perioperative team to maintain efficient workflow

Contribute to high-quality care for complex surgical and specialty patients in a Houston hospital setting
