Position Overview
Cleveland Clinic Florida is seeking aBoard-Certified or Board-Eligible Anesthesiologist and Critical Care Medicineto join ourSurgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU)team. This role offers the opportunity to practice high-acuity critical care within a collaborative academic environment.
The physician will provide care forpost-operative and critically ill surgical patients , working closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, intensivists, residents, advanced practice providers, and nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver comprehensive critical care management for SICU patientsProvide perioperative and post-operative critical care supportCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plansParticipate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety effortsTeach and mentor residents, fellows, and advanced practice providers (if applicable)Participate in call coverage as assignedQualifications
MD or DOBoard-Certified or Board-Eligible inAnesthesiology and Critical Care MedicineEligible for or licensed to practice in the state of FloridaStrong clinical skills with a commitment to patient-centered careInterest in academic medicine, teaching, or clinical research preferredSpecial consideration will be given to candidates with experience in perioperative management for solid organ transplantation or neurocritical careCompensation & Benefits
