Role description
City Year seeks an Academic Tutor and Mentor to support student success in partner schools. In this role, you will provide small-group and one-on-one academic support, focusing on core subjects, homework help, and study skills. You will also build positive relationships, mentor students on social-emotional skills, and help create an inclusive, engaging classroom environment. Working within the Education, Training & E-Learning team, you’ll collaborate closely with teachers and City Year staff, receive professional development, and contribute to a culture centered on social justice, leadership, and personal growth.
